How does eIVF track a
patient, member, employee or org
anization?
eIVF maintains a master index of all
"entities" (patients, organizations, providers,
etc.). Each type of entity is stored in a separate
table. For example, if you define an entity as a
"patient," he or she will be registered in the
Patient table. If a person is defined as a
"provider," he or she will appear in the Provider
table. As roles progress, for instance, from being a
person to an employee to an injured employee,
additional entries are created in relevant tables in
eIVF.

How current is the data within the system?
With eIVF, you'll have the information you need,
when you need it. The system allows you to optimize
updates to suit your organization's specific
requirements. Ranging from monthly to near
real-time, information updates are as responsive to
your information priorities as the rest of the
system. Consider just one example - multiple
clinical observations taken on a person during a
single visit. Two different blood pressure readings
(e.g., standing and prone) taken in a matter of
minutes by a clinician can be readily entered into
Clinical Data Repository. Each observation remains
unique for the lifetime of the person because it is
stamped with a universal time stamp for that
individual.

Yes. You will have a complete and unified healthcare
picture of every patient or employee for whom you're
responsible. eIVF merges financial, clinical and
case management information about any person you
select. It lets you evaluate that individual's

costs in numerous ways. Because you can view the
complete picture, you can determine what must be

only. We comply with US Federal healthcare security
standards, US export laws, and local tax authority
requirements, which make us unable to export eIVF at

handle?

and portable. Technically speaking, the size of eIVF
is determined by the limitations on the size of a

believes that the system's capacity is huge, many
thousands of gigabytes. (A gigabyte is one billion
characters and a terabyte is 1,000 gigabytes.) In

named "Chris Smith." You simply enter Ms. Smith's
unique ID, then index the appropriate table in the
Clinical Data Repository software module. You will
see a table of all clinical observations available
for Chris Smith, regardless of date, time, setting,
visit, etc.
