For Immediate Release

October 23, 2000, ASRM, San Diego, CA.

PracticeHwy.com, today announced the beta release of eIVF, a comprehensive Online Medical Records solution designed specifically to accommodate the specialized requirements and needs of the reproductive medicine practice.  This version, delivered as an ASP-hosted solution provides protocol management tools and professional services for improving quality of care and communication between physicians, patients, staff, and business partners.

PracticeHwy.com will be offering eIVF and a complete range of professional services via PracticeHwy Service Center that help IVF centers focus on their core competency of practicing medicine.  This innovative solution leverages all ASP advantages by incorporating highly coordinated software modules, a clinical data repository, and a complete range of professional services to help centers reduce cost and risk.

eIVF is the first comprehensive generation of software that delivers fertilization, andrology and embryology into an integrated whole.  This powerful application provides two separate portals for providers and patients that feature secure, reliable point-of-care information.   The provider portal contains extensive clinical capabilities to define, schedule, document and manage drug utilization, cycle details, sperm details, egg retrievals, fertilization, embryo and blastocysts culture and transfers, cryopreservation, sperm and embryo inventory, thawing details, and the ability to comply and report to SART.  The patient portal features secure, up-to-date, patient-specific information, office news, and the ability to interact with physicians, clinical staff and other experts within the IVF organization.

"This solution was conceived, through our experience with Clinical Master®, a traditional Client/Server EMR/CPR package, ” said Jawid Rahimi, president and chief executive officer of PracticeHwy.com.  “We feel that this solution (software and services) model will change the way physicians manage their practices and their delivery of healthcare. We are leading with the launch of eIVF and our Service Center and plan to expand this true end-to-end solution to other specialties in the near future,” continued Mr. Rahimi.
