RAS is a method which allows most of services that
would be available on a network to be accessed over
a modem link.
Your system administrator creates User Name and
Password for PracticeHwy support staff. He/She
will also supply PracticeHwy with the telephone
number of the RAS server so PracticeHwy support
staff can dial in to your network. From there
PracticeHwy can use telnet, web browser, pcAnywhere
or VCN to diagnose and rectify the problem.
